TO SPEAK & TO BE SILENT - ROCKOONS

Cinemavixion Review

This installment of the Rockoons series, "To Speak & To Be Silent," offers a charming and educational musical adventure for the youngest viewers. The narrative cleverly explores the dynamics of communication and quietude through the characters of Soh and Lala, who initially clash over their desire to make noise. Faf's ingenious solution—a game of silence—provides a gentle yet effective way to teach children about self-control and observation. The introduction of Mimi, Re, Ti, and Notey as eager participants in the game adds a delightful layer of engagement. The story culminates in a fun charades segment, further encouraging interactive learning. Ultimately, the episode celebrates the joy of both speaking and listening, reinforcing themes of empathy and friendship—core values of the Rockoons educational mission. It's a delightful exploration of sound and silence, perfectly pitched for toddlers and preschoolers.
