TIME TRAVELERS STOP THE ASSASSINATION OF JESUS

Cinemavixion Review

Jim Carroll's 'Time Travelers Stop the Assassination of Jesus' presents a bold, albeit unconventional, premise that hinges on a high-concept science fiction narrative. The film posits an extremist group hijacking temporal technology to alter a pivotal moment in history: the assassination of Jesus. This audacious plot twist immediately sets the stage for a race against time, as the very inventors of the time-travel device must undo the damage and avert a catastrophic apocalypse. While the foundational idea is ripe for exploration of paradoxes and the butterfly effect, the execution leans heavily into its sci-fi elements. The film challenges viewers to consider the ramifications of tampering with the past, framing a theological event through a distinctly futuristic lens. It's a thought-provoking, if sometimes jarring, cinematic experiment.
