TIME OF HER LIFE

Cinemavixion Review

Steven M. Smith's "Time of Her Life" (2005) is a spectral romance that attempts to weave together past and present within the atmospheric confines of a historic English mansion. The film centers on Emmett, a ghost tethered to the estate, and Ally, a photography student drawn into his spectral world. Their shared quest to uncover the truth behind the disappearance of Emmett's lost love, Catherine, forms the narrative backbone. While the premise offers potential for chilling suspense and poignant romance, the film, as suggested by its IMDb rating of 3.0, struggles to fully capitalize on its supernatural elements. The blend of ghostly encounters and romantic entanglement is a delicate balance, and "Time of Her Life" appears to tread a path that may not resonate with all viewers, despite its evocative setting and the efforts of its cast, including Laura Penneycard and Geoff Shaw.
