TIME LOOP

Cinemavixion Review

Ciro Sorrentino's "Time Loop" presents a compelling narrative centered on a young Londoner scientist grappling with the unforeseen repercussions of his choices. Set against the serene backdrop of an Italian village, the film masterfully explores themes of causality and destiny. Sorrentino, who also penned the screenplay, crafts a story that is both intellectually stimulating and emotionally resonant, anchored by strong performances from Sam Gittins, Mino Sferra, and Ellie Poussot. While the film garnered attention with four wins, its IMDb rating of 3.8 suggests a divisive reception among audiences. Nevertheless, "Time Loop" stands as a thought-provoking piece of science fiction, inviting viewers to ponder the intricate web of cause and effect that shapes our lives. Its exploration of temporal paradoxes and personal responsibility makes it a worthy watch for fans of cerebral cinema.
