TILLIE: ARSON DOG

Cinemavixion Review

Tillie: Arson Dog presents a fascinating look into the lives of working dogs across the globe. The film highlights the dedication and unique skills of canines like Tilly, a Border Collie trained to investigate fires in Pretoria, South Africa, and Murphy, a Golden Retriever offering comfort as a therapy dog in Madison, WI. We also meet Madison, a lab mix with a sweet gig at a Toronto bakery for dogs. Through a blend of on-the-job footage and compelling narration, the documentary captures the inherent drama and lighthearted moments that define the daily routines of these extraordinary animals. It's an engaging exploration of the human-animal bond and the vital roles dogs play in our society.
