TIDE

Cinemavixion Review

This British horror film, 'Tide,' plunges viewers into a harrowing ordeal as four friends find themselves in a desperate race against the relentless sea. Set against the treacherous backdrop of a bay notorious for its deadly quicksands, the narrative skillfully ratchets up the tension. The isolation and natural dangers are soon compounded by an unseen, lurking threat, transforming a survival challenge into a fight for their very lives. Director Berty Cadilhac crafts a claustrophobic atmosphere, effectively using the unforgiving environment as a character in itself. While the film may not boast extensive accolades, its strength lies in its focused premise and the palpable sense of dread that permeates every frame. For fans of intense survival thrillers with a supernatural or monstrous edge, 'Tide' offers a chilling and suspenseful experience.
