THONG GIRL VS XOLTA FROM OUTER SPACE

Cinemavixion Review

In "Thong Girl vs Xolta from Outer Space," director Glen Weiss presents a campy, intergalactic romp that leans heavily into its B-movie charm. The narrative, which sees the titular Thong Girl reluctantly joining forces with the alien Xolta to thwart the planet-destroying Vish'ss, offers a familiar yet entertaining premise. While the film may not boast high-end production values, its true strength lies in the enthusiastic performances of its cast, particularly Angela Kerecz as Thong Girl and Amy Boyatt as Xolta, who fully commit to the absurdity. The humor is broad, the action sequences are spirited, and the visual effects, though dated, possess a certain low-budget appeal. This 2014 short is a fun, if brief, escape into a world where unlikely heroes save the day with a blend of superpowers and spandex.
