Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges into the unsettling reality of a community terrorized by a serial predator, only to discover the perpetrator was one of their own: a decorated police officer. The narrative masterfully builds suspense, detailing the meticulous methods of the assailant and the growing fear that gripped Bloomington, Illinois. It highlights the chilling ease with which he bypassed security, exploiting his intimate knowledge of law enforcement tactics. The film underscores the bravery of the victims who, years later, contributed to the unmasking of this 'protector' turned predator. It's a stark examination of betrayal, the abuse of power, and the relentless pursuit of justice against formidable odds, revealing a truth that is as shocking as it is disturbing. The story serves as a potent reminder of the vulnerability that can lie hidden beneath a veneer of authority.
