THEY'RE OUTSIDE

Cinemavixion Review

In 'They're Outside,' a chilling blend of psychological thriller and folk horror, director duo Sam Casserly and Airell Anthony Hayles delve into the unsettling territory where public personas crumble under the weight of private fears. The film centers on a YouTube celebrity psychologist who, while documenting an agoraphobic woman's journey to overcome her debilitating condition, finds himself ensnared in a sinister local legend. As the psychologist's ten-day challenge races against the clock, the line between his manufactured reality and the town's encroaching darkness blurs, revealing a terrifying world of pagan rituals and folklore. Starring Emily Booth, Emma Burdon-Sutton, and Brad Moore, the film masterfully crafts an atmosphere of dread, questioning the nature of reality and the primal fears that bind us. While the external data indicates a 2020 release and a modest IMDb rating, the film's premise promises a compelling exploration of isolation and the supernatural, making it a noteworthy watch for fans of atmospheric horror.
