THERE WILL BE SIDE EFFECTS

Cinemavixion Review

Andrew Lyman-Clarke's "There Will Be Side Effects" plunges into a chilling narrative where a young man's grief over a friend's sudden demise unravels a sinister conspiracy. The film masterfully intertwines personal tragedy with corporate intrigue, centering on an enigmatic corporation and the pharmaceutical laboratory suspected of foul play. John Wesley Shipp, Brett Azar, and Allison Mackie deliver compelling performances, anchoring the story's emotional weight. As the protagonist delves deeper, the audience is drawn into a complex web of secrets, questioning the true cost of progress and the ethical boundaries of science. This thriller is a thought-provoking exploration of loss, corruption, and the fight for truth in a world where even healing can be a weapon.
