Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the disturbing psyche of Peter Sutcliffe, the notorious Yorkshire Ripper. It meticulously traces his formative years, highlighting a childhood marked by timidity, a profound attachment to his mother, and a strained relationship with his father. The narrative suggests these early experiences may have laid the groundwork for the profound misogyny that would later fuel his horrific crimes. By focusing on the 13 female victims and Sutcliffe's personal history, the film offers a chilling exploration of how personal vulnerabilities and societal factors can intersect to create a monster. It serves as a somber reminder of the devastating impact of his actions and a stark examination of the roots of his violence.
