THE WRONG TARGET

Cinemavixion Review

This brief narrative, centered around a tense wait in a Chicago bar, introduces characters Tom and Jerry poised for a clandestine operation. The premise hints at a noir-infused thriller, where anticipation and the looming threat of violence form the core of the atmosphere. While the synopsis is sparse, it effectively establishes a mood of suspense. The involvement of Sam Rockwell, known for his nuanced performances, suggests a potential for depth in character portrayal, even within a potentially short runtime. The setting of a bar in Chicago further grounds the story in a recognizable urban landscape, adding a layer of gritty realism to the unfolding events. This setup promises a story where subtle interactions and the unsaid carry significant weight, leaving the audience to ponder the motivations and the inevitable outcome.
