THE WRONG ENCOUNTER

Cinemavixion Review

This thriller plunges viewers into the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands, where a peaceful hiking holiday takes a sinister turn. The narrative centers on Jess and Andrea, whose escape into nature is shattered by a disturbing encounter at a local pub. When Andrea vanishes after meeting two mysterious men, Jess is thrust into a desperate search against a backdrop of unforgiving wilderness. The film masterfully builds suspense, using the isolation of the Highlands to amplify the sense of dread and vulnerability. The mystery surrounding Andrea's disappearance and the identity of the men she met becomes increasingly compelling, drawing the audience deeper into Jess's mounting fear and determination. It's a taut exploration of how quickly a serene setting can become a stage for chilling events.
