THE WRISTWATCH

Cinemavixion Review

In "The Wristwatch," director Devin J. Dilmore and Gino Gaetano present a contemplative drama set against the sprawling, isolating backdrop of Los Angeles. The film delves into the lives of four individuals grappling with profound emotional turmoil – anger, sorrow, resentment, and fear – painting a poignant portrait of urban loneliness. The narrative gains a unique dimension with the introduction of Charlie, a mysterious watchmaker, whose special wristwatch becomes the catalyst for a chain of events. This enigmatic timepiece offers each character a chance to confront their past and their personal demons, whether it be addiction, terminal illness, or the grief of losing a loved one. Through the power of this extraordinary watch, they embark on a journey towards a spiritual awakening, seeking a new perspective on their lives. Starring Kelci C. Magel, Tonita Castro, and Pat Fitz, "The Wristwatch" attempts to explore themes of redemption and hope amidst hardship, offering a thoughtful, albeit sometimes somber, cinematic experience.
