THE WORLD’S GREATEST KICKER

Cinemavixion Review

In 'The World's Greatest Kicker,' Harold Cornsweet directs a heartwarming tale about a retired senior citizen who decides to revisit his college days, not just for academics, but to make his mark on the football field. What starts as a seemingly simple pursuit of a degree quickly transforms into an unexpected journey of athletic prowess. The film chronicles his surprising success as he becomes a star player, proving that age is merely a number when passion and determination take hold. Starring Earl Keyes in a role that blends gentle humor with surprising grit, alongside Norma Joseph, Paul Jacobs, and Helen Killinger, the movie offers a charming look at second chances and the enduring spirit of competition. It's a delightful, albeit perhaps niche, story that champions the idea that it's never too late to achieve your dreams, even if those dreams involve a pigskin.
