THE VIKINGS: WHAT HAPPENED WHEN THE VIKINGS STAYED

Cinemavixion Review

While often stereotyped as mere raiders, the historical narrative of the Vikings extends far beyond their fearsome reputation. This exploration delves into the profound and often overlooked impact of Viking settlers on the very fabric of European nations. It posits that many modern countries owe a significant cultural and societal debt to these Norse voyagers, whose influence shaped landscapes and institutions in ways that resonate to this day. The documentary encourages a re-evaluation of their legacy, moving beyond the image of the warrior to appreciate their contributions as builders and innovators who left an indelible mark on the continent's development.
