THE VERY BAD BACHELORS | DENNIS NILSEN, RODNEY ALCALA | TRUE CRIME CENTRAL

Cinemavixion Review

This compilation from True Crime Central delves into the chilling narratives of notorious serial offenders. We are presented with the grim details of Dennis Nilsen's crimes, a former army veteran and police officer whose acts of violence escalated to dismemberment. The program also explores the disturbing case of Rodney Alcala, a killer whose brutality was matched only by his audacity in appearing on 'The Dating Game.' Finally, the terrifying spree of J.R. Chavez in Dallas, culminating in five deaths in a single night, is examined. While the individual stories are undoubtedly compelling for fans of the genre, the fragmented nature prevents a cohesive exploration of any single case. It serves as a stark reminder of the darker aspects of human nature, presented in a format that prioritizes breadth over depth.
