THE UNKNOWNS

Cinemavixion Review

Andres Ramirez's "The Unknowns" plunges into the dark underbelly of Hollywood, exploring the perilous journey of aspiring actors whose dreams of stardom quickly devolve into a nightmare. The narrative follows a group of fresh faces, brimming with ambition, who find themselves cast in what they believe to be a conventional horror film. However, their roles soon shift from performance to desperate survival as they realize they are the unwitting targets of a sinister snuff film operation. The film chillingly contrasts the glitz and glamour of the industry with its brutal realities, forcing the audience to confront the extreme measures taken in the pursuit of fame. While the cast features unknown talents, their performances are crucial in conveying the escalating terror and helplessness of their characters, making this a stark commentary on the price of ambition in the entertainment world.
