THE UNKNOWN OF BEING RELEASED FROM PRISON | REHABILITATION DOCUMENTARY

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a rare and unflinching look into the realities of the English prison system. Filmed over seven months with unprecedented access, 'The Unknown of being Released from Prison' delves into the complex lives of both inmates and staff. It bravely confronts the escalating drug problems, the pervasive violence, and the significant mental health challenges that plague correctional facilities. The series doesn't shy away from the human cost, presenting a raw and authentic portrayal of the daily struggles faced by those within the prison walls and those tasked with maintaining order. It serves as a vital, if sobering, reflection of broader societal issues impacting the prison service today.
