Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the chilling parallel between two of Australia and the UK's most notorious serial killing cases. Focusing on Eric Edgar Cook's reign of terror in Perth, which claimed eight lives, and the infamous Moors Murders in Manchester, perpetrated by Ian Brady and Myra Hindley against five children, the film draws a stark comparison between these devastating events. It explores the profound impact these crimes had on the respective cities, examining the loss of innocence and the enduring scar left by such harrowing acts of violence. The narrative highlights the psychological darkness that can grip individuals and the collective trauma experienced by communities when confronted by extreme brutality.
