THE TRAGIC MURDERS OF GRETCHEN ANTHONY & KERRY WOOLLEY | KILLERS CAUGHT ON CAMERA

Cinemavixion Review

This episode of 'Killers Caught On Camera' delves into two chilling cases that unfolded against the backdrop of the early COVID-19 pandemic. The first narrative follows the unsettling disappearance of Gretchen Anthony in March 2020, where out-of-character texts raise immediate alarms among her family, hinting at a possible connection to her estranged ex-husband. The second case examines the tragic discovery of Kerry Woolley in the UK, with police focusing on her boyfriend, Ian Bennett. The investigation takes a shocking turn with the discovery of dashcam footage from Bennett's mother's car, implicating a mother-son duo. The series effectively uses found footage – CCTV, dashcams, and home security – to place viewers at the scene, offering a voyeuristic yet critical lens on criminal acts. First-hand accounts from family and law enforcement, combined with insights from experts like Dr. Julia Shaw, provide a comprehensive and compelling look into the motivations behind these heinous crimes.
