THE THIEF OF BAGHDAD

Cinemavixion Review

Peter Choi's "The Thief of Baghdad" presents a classic tale of loyalty and daring. The narrative follows a young pickpocket who, through a series of fortunate and unfortunate events, finds himself instrumental in the rescue of a wrongfully accused king. The film's strength lies in its simple yet effective storytelling, drawing the viewer into a world where street smarts and courage triumph over injustice. Choi, who also stars in the film, brings a grounded performance to the lead, while Orlando Corradi provides a solid supporting presence. While not a lavish production, its earnest execution and the timeless theme of a commoner rising to the occasion make it a watchable adventure.
