THE TANGLE

Cinemavixion Review

Christopher Soren Kelly's "The Tangle" plunges viewers into a chillingly plausible near-future where the pervasive 'Tangle' network, embedded directly into the human brain, blurs the lines between connection and control. The film masterfully explores themes of privacy, autonomy, and the potential for technology to become an inescapable prison. Kelly, who also stars, delivers a nuanced performance, supported by a compelling cast including Joshua Bitton and Jessica Graham. While the narrative delves into complex philosophical territory, it remains grounded by its relatable human struggles against an encroaching digital omnipresence. The production, noted for its 6 wins and 9 nominations, offers a thought-provoking cinematic experience that resonates long after the credits roll, questioning the true cost of ultimate connectivity.
