THE SURVIVAL GAMES

Cinemavixion Review

"The Survival Games" plunges viewers into a harrowing tale of survival where a simple camping trip for Mike and his friends transforms into a desperate fight for life. Directed by Mike Corkle, the film, released in 2012, features a cast including Konrad Case, Robin Zamora, and Mischa McCortney. The premise is stark: abducted by criminals seeking a lost tracking device, the friends become unwitting pawns in a dangerous game of cat and mouse deep within the wilderness. As the lines between hunter and hunted blur, the film explores the primal instincts that surface when faced with extreme peril. While the plot may sound familiar, the execution aims to deliver a tense, action-packed thriller that questions the resilience of the human spirit under duress. With a runtime of 95 minutes and rated R, "The Survival Games" offers a gritty descent into a fight for survival where the natural environment becomes as much of an antagonist as the criminals themselves.
