THE SUMMER OF INNOCENCE

Cinemavixion Review

This poignant drama, set against the backdrop of a sweltering New Orleans summer in 1970, chronicles a father's desperate attempt to shield his two daughters from the harsh reality of his failing business. As the family navigates this uprooting from Brooklyn, the father's growing anger and desperation become palpable, creating a tense and emotionally charged atmosphere. The film offers a stark look at the pressures of financial ruin and the lengths to which one might go to maintain an illusion of stability, even at the cost of emotional honesty with loved ones.
