THE SUBSTITUTE SPY

Cinemavixion Review

Jasmine Guy shines in 'The Substitute Spy,' a delightful adventure that cleverly blends childhood innocence with the high stakes of international espionage. While the external data points to a 2016 release directed by Greg Galloway, the core appeal remains firmly rooted in Guy's compelling performance. The narrative, which pits a group of video game-obsessed kids against a sinister plot unfolding within their school, offers a whimsical yet engaging premise. The film successfully captures the imagination, suggesting that heroism can emerge from the most unexpected quarters. It's a charming watch that should resonate with families looking for a fun and spirited tale of bravery and discovery, proving that even the seemingly ordinary can harbor extraordinary secrets.
