THE STAKE K!LLER

Cinemavixion Review

In "THE STAKE K!LLER," director Matthias Mueller delves into the chilling legend of Count Falkenstein, a figure historically depicted as a vampire seeking eternal life through the souls of his victims. The film positions him as perhaps the first documented serial killer, exploring the dark origins of such notoriety. While the synopsis provided is brief, it hints at a narrative steeped in gothic horror and psychological dread, drawing parallels between ancient folklore and the nascent concept of serial predation. The cast, including Jennifer Angersbach, Ian Deasy, David Engelmann, Levi Harrison, and Constance Klemenz, is tasked with bringing this grim tale to life, potentially navigating themes of mortality, obsession, and the enduring nature of evil. The film's premise offers a unique perspective on a legendary figure, merging historical myth with the grim reality of criminal pathology.
