THE SLAYING OF THE VAMPIRE GIGOLO: SHANE CHARTRES-ABBOTT

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the sensational and tragic case of Shane Chartres-Abbott, a Melbourne man accused of a heinous crime, who claimed to be a vampire. The narrative paints a grim picture of a man entangled in a web of alleged criminal activity, from prostitute to potential victim of a conspiracy. Chartres-Abbott's claims of a sex ring involving powerful figures, coupled with his brutal murder before he could present his defense, transform this into a chilling true crime story. The film probes the circumstances surrounding his death, leaving viewers to ponder the true nature of the events and the possible cover-up. It's a compelling, albeit dark, exploration of justice, corruption, and the sensationalism that can surround a high-profile case.
