"The Skyhawk" emerges as a compelling martial arts drama, anchored by the charismatic performance of Tak-Hing Kwan in the titular role. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Bangkok, the narrative weaves a tale of justice and community as Wong Fei-hung, the renowned boxer known as The Skyhawk, steps in to protect the innocent. The film skillfully portrays the struggles of local porters against the predatory schemes of the villainous Ku Chung-wu, highlighting themes of solidarity and resistance against exploitation. Director Chang-hwa Jeong crafts a visually engaging experience, complemented by strong performances from Nora Miao and Hsiung Chao.
