THE SIXTH SECRET

Cinemavixion Review

In 'The Sixth Secret,' director Mart Sander crafts a stylish, albeit self-aware, homage to classic Hammer horror. The film unfolds as a real-time murder mystery during a late-night seance, where secrets, both revealed and concealed, drive the narrative. While the IMDb rating suggests a mixed reception, the commitment to its B-movie aesthetic and a plot promising twists is evident. The ensemble cast, including Triin Lellep and Gregory Defleur, navigates the over-the-top premise with a seriousness that enhances the film's campy charm. 'The Sixth Secret' aims for a blend of mystery and macabre thrills, offering a unique, if occasionally uneven, cinematic experience that fans of genre throwbacks might find intriguing.
