THE SHADY GAS STATION MOGUL

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges into the shadowy underbelly of New York City's gas station empire, focusing on the chilling true story of Gurmeet Singh Dhinsa. Initially a probe into alleged gas pump rigging in 1997, the investigation by the FBI and NYPD quickly unraveled a far more sinister operation. Dhinsa, it emerged, commanded his business with a level of brutality akin to organized crime, perpetrating kidnappings and murders to silence dissent or cover up his tracks. The narrative masterfully details the perilous journey agents undertook, infiltrating Dhinsa's violent world to bring his empire of fear to justice. It's a stark reminder of how greed can corrupt, leading to unimaginable acts of violence disguised behind legitimate enterprise.
