THE SEVERED ARM: SLASHING FURY

Cinemavixion Review

Tom Alderman's 'The Severed Arm: Slashing Fury' plunges viewers into a harrowing tale of survival gone awry. Set within the claustrophobic confines of a cave, the narrative follows five men driven to the brink of desperation by starvation. Their unthinkable act – severing the limb of one of their own to stave off death – sets in motion a chilling chain of events. Once rescued, the victim returns, consumed by a thirst for vengeance, systematically hunting down those responsible. The film explores the dark corners of human nature under extreme duress, posing disturbing questions about morality and the lengths to which people will go when faced with annihilation. Deborah Walley, Paul Carr, and David G. Cannon deliver performances that underscore the grim psychological descent of the characters in this tense and unsettling thriller.
