THE SETUP

Cinemavixion Review

"THE SETUP" presents a compellingly high-concept premise, centering on a fugitive attempting to persuade a captive that a duplicate of himself is responsible for the president's assassination. This narrative conceit immediately plunges the viewer into a world of paranoia and distrust, where reality itself seems to be in question. The tension inherent in the man's desperate plea against the backdrop of such an extraordinary claim promises a gripping psychological thriller. While details on the director, cast, and specific year are absent, the core idea suggests a film that thrives on suspense and the unraveling of a complex, potentially unreliable, account. It's a setup ripe for exploring themes of identity, deception, and the nature of truth in a high-stakes environment.
