The documentary 'The Secret Life Of The Crash Test Dummy' offers a fascinating glimpse into the evolution of automotive safety. It traces the journey from early human volunteers enduring dangerous crash simulations to the sophisticated, anthropomorphic dummies we see today. The narrative highlights the meticulous engineering involved in developing these dummies to closely replicate human physiology, posing a thought-provoking question about their universal applicability in representing every individual. While the film delves into the technical advancements, it leaves the viewer contemplating the ongoing quest for comprehensive and inclusive safety testing.
