THE RODEO THIEF

Cinemavixion Review

Brett Bentman's 'The Rodeo Thief' plunges viewers into the gritty underbelly of the rodeo world, presenting a compelling narrative of desperation and moral compromise. The film centers on an aging bull rider, his spirit as battered as his body, who finds himself entangled with a menacing loan shark. The plot takes a sharp turn as he's coerced into stealing horses, a choice that pits his dwindling pride against dire necessity. While the film may not boast a star-studded cast, the performances effectively convey the weight of the protagonist's predicament. 'The Rodeo Thief' is a stark exploration of consequence, set against the backdrop of a world where fortunes can turn as quickly as a bucking bronco. It's a thoughtful piece that lingers, prompting reflection on the sacrifices made when survival is on the line.
