THE RIGHT HAND OF THE DEVIL

Cinemavixion Review

Aram Katcher directs and stars in "The Right Hand of the Devil," a gritty 1963 crime drama that plunges viewers into the underbelly of Los Angeles. Katcher portrays Pepe Lusara, a cunning criminal mastermind whose ambition fuels a daring arena heist. The film expertly navigates Lusara's intricate web of double-crosses and brutal schemes as he attempts to outwit both his crew and the authorities. Lisa McDonald provides a compelling counterpoint as Miss Sutherland, who becomes entangled in Lusara's dangerous game. Though the plot delves into familiar noir territory, Katcher's assured direction and a taut, efficient runtime of 67 minutes ensure a gripping experience. "The Right Hand of the Devil" is a compelling study of greed and self-destruction, offering a potent glimpse into the criminal psyche.
