THE RICHARDSONS BY FRED DINENAGE

Cinemavixion Review

Fred Dinenage, renowned biographer of the Kray Twins, grants audiences an unprecedented glimpse into the clandestine operations of the Richardson Brothers, infamously dubbed the ‘Torture Gang’. This compelling documentary, released in 2012 and directed by Matt Blyth, delves into the brutal reign of terror these figures imposed upon London during the 1960s, operating in parallel with their notorious counterparts. Dinenage’s unique position as an insider, invited into their closed world, promises an extraordinary exposé. The film meticulously reconstructs the violent era, offering a chilling account of the Richardson brothers' dominance and the fear they instilled, making it essential viewing for anyone interested in the darker chapters of London's criminal history.
