THE RED RESURRECTION

Cinemavixion Review

"The Red Resurrection" plunges viewers into a chilling narrative that echoes the survival horror of "Resident Evil" while forging its own distinct path. The film masterfully portrays a young woman's harrowing journey as she grapples with a past she can barely recall, resurrected from a state akin to death. Director Matt Long crafts a tense atmosphere, effectively blending psychological dread with the visceral threat of a deadly plague that has unleashed both monstrous creatures and treacherous humanity. The performances, particularly from the core cast including Rick Boling, Daniel Cutteridge, and Trish Erickson-Martin, convey a palpable sense of fear and desperation. Winning 21 awards, this independent thriller offers a compelling exploration of identity and survival against overwhelming odds, making it a noteworthy watch for fans of the genre.
