THE REAPER MAN

Cinemavixion Review

Jaron Lockridge's "The Reaper Man" (2023) plunges into the grim territory of revenge horror, centered around a grieving wife who invokes a malevolent entity to exact vengeance. Starring Kenon Walker, K.J. Baker, and Jeff Haltom, the film, as indicated by its IMDb rating of 4.8/10, appears to lean into its dark premise. While external critical reception and detailed plot points beyond its core concept are not extensively detailed, the film's commitment to its horror genre and its clear narrative thrust of supernatural retribution offer a potentially chilling experience for fans of the genre. The 88-minute runtime suggests a focused narrative, aiming to deliver its horrifying promise without unnecessary detours.
