THE RANGERS: BLOODSTONE

Cinemavixion Review

David Nordquist's "The Rangers: Bloodstone" plunges viewers into a realm of high fantasy, drawing immediate comparisons to beloved epics like "Ladyhawke" and "The Fellowship of the Ring." Nordquist, who also helms the directorial duties, stars as Drustan Lorne, an elite King's Ranger driven by a desperate quest to save his daughter and the mystical land of Adrasil from encroaching darkness. The film weaves a tale of courage and sacrifice, as Lorne navigates treacherous landscapes and confronts formidable foes. While the narrative treads familiar fantasy ground, the commitment to its world-building and the emotional core of Lorne's mission offer a compelling adventure. Nordquist's dual role as director and lead actor imbues the character with a personal intensity, making this a noteworthy entry for fans of the genre seeking a new saga.
