THE POET

Cinemavixion Review

This film delves into the tumultuous life of the young Ovid, a poet whose daring verses on love and seduction placed him in direct conflict with the emperor. The narrative explores the dangers inherent in artistic expression when it challenges authority, painting a portrait of a man whose words could ignite passion and court disaster. While the film does not provide specific details on its directorial or cast, it promises a compelling look at the intersection of poetry, power, and personal peril in ancient Rome.
