THE PERFECT SOULMATE

Cinemavixion Review

In "The Perfect Soulmate," director Curtis Crawford crafts a tense thriller that delves into the perilous consequences of seeking solace in the wrong places. The film centers on Sarah Miles, a woman trapped in an abusive marriage who, in a desperate bid for escape, finds a new, albeit far more dangerous, companion through an online connection. Cassie Scerbo delivers a compelling performance as Sarah, navigating the escalating fear and paranoia that comes with placing her trust in a seemingly supportive fan, who ultimately proves to be a greater threat than her abuser. The narrative expertly builds suspense, illustrating how desperation can blind one to the true nature of those around them. While the film may not boast major accolades, its taut pacing and Scerbo's central performance make it a noteworthy entry for fans of suspenseful psychological dramas.
