THE PARTY BUS

Cinemavixion Review

Jonathan Newton's 'The Party Bus' plunges viewers into the disorienting aftermath of a breakup, following Zac's journey from timid uncertainty to a perilous entanglement with the drug trade. Newton, who also stars in the film, navigates this narrative with a keen eye for the emotional fragility of his protagonist. The film effectively captures the stark contrast between Zac's desire for self-discovery and the dangerous reality he encounters working on the titular party bus. While the premise hints at a thriller, the core of the film lies in Zac's internal struggle and his confrontation with the menacing Logan. The performances, particularly Newton's portrayal of Zac, ground the story in relatable vulnerability, making his fight for confidence against overwhelming odds a compelling watch. 'The Party Bus' offers a raw look at how unexpected paths can lead to unforeseen challenges, ultimately exploring themes of resilience and self-worth.
