George McCowan's "The Over-the-Hill Gang Rides Again" (1970) sees the beloved ensemble, led by the ever-witty Walter Brennan as Nash Crawford, return for another adventure. This time, the retired Texas Rangers find themselves confronting corruption within their own hometown. The narrative cleverly weaves a tale of civic duty and camaraderie as the aging lawmen devise a plan to restore order and even guide a 'town lush' (ably portrayed by the legendary Fred Astaire) back to sobriety.
