THE OLD FOOL

Cinemavixion Review

In the gritty atmosphere of 1970s Tennessee, "The Old Fool" introduces us to Nathan, a troubled adolescent grappling with the volatile power of pyrokinesis. On the run from law enforcement, Nathan finds himself in the precarious company of his older sister and her companions. This premise sets the stage for a potentially intense character study and a suspenseful chase narrative, exploring themes of control, family, and the burden of extraordinary abilities in a mundane, yet unforgiving, setting. The film promises a journey into the heart of a young man pushed to his limits, navigating both external threats and internal turmoil.
