Cinemavixion Review

Christopher A. Micklos and Jay Sapiro's 2018 horror offering, "The Nursery," plunges viewers into a chilling narrative centered around Ranae, a college student whose babysitting gig takes a terrifying turn. As she tends to an infant, a sinister presence begins to stalk her, escalating into a fight for survival alongside her friends against an angry, malevolent spirit. The film, which garnered two wins according to external data, presents a deliberate march towards its prey, exploring themes of confronting the past and the supernatural. While the plot summary suggests a familiar setup within the horror genre, the execution aims to deliver a suspenseful experience as the characters are hunted down one by one. With a runtime of 87 minutes, "The Nursery" promises a concentrated dose of terror for fans of supernatural thrillers and mystery.
