This documentary sheds a crucial, often overlooked light on a pivotal moment in World War II: the sabotage of the Nazi nuclear program. Focusing on the daring exploits of Norwegian commandos, the film meticulously details the vital role of the Vemork hydroelectric plant and its heavy water production in fueling Germany's atomic ambitions. The narrative skillfully builds suspense, highlighting the immense stakes involved and the extraordinary bravery required to disrupt Hitler's path to nuclear armament. It serves as a powerful reminder of the critical contributions made by these largely forgotten heroes, whose actions undoubtedly altered the course of the war and preserved the delicate balance of global power.
