THE NIGHT THEY KNOCKED

Cinemavixion Review

This tense thriller plunges viewers into a chilling scenario where a peaceful mountain getaway devolves into a fight for survival. 'The Night They Knocked' masterfully builds suspense as an unsuspecting group of friends find their weekend disrupted by unwelcome, menacing visitors. The film excels in its atmospheric dread, portraying the isolation of the remote house as a character in itself. As the night unfolds, the narrative skillfully escalates the stakes, transforming a seemingly idyllic retreat into a harrowing ordeal. The chemistry among the young cast lends authenticity to their escalating terror, making their plight all the more compelling. While the external data notes a 2019 release and a runtime of 80 minutes, the core of the film remains its gripping exploration of vulnerability and the sudden intrusion of violence into a safe space. It's a compelling watch for those who appreciate suspenseful narratives that keep you on the edge of your seat.
