THE NIGHT STALKER: DARK SOULS

Cinemavixion Review

Ray Gower's "The Night Stalker: Dark Souls" plunges viewers into a disorienting abyss where the lines between reality and nightmare blur with chilling effect. Thora Birch delivers a compelling performance as Susan Hamilton, a woman whose slumber becomes a battleground for her deepest anxieties. The film masterfully crafts an atmosphere of dread as Susan finds herself pursued by the specter of the Night Stalker, a notorious serial killer whose presence looms large even in her subconscious. Gower skillfully navigates the psychological terrain, exploring themes of fear, identity, and the terrifying possibility of one's inner demons manifesting in tangible, deadly ways. The narrative's suspense is palpable, drawing the audience into Susan's fragmented reality and leaving them to question the very nature of her torment. It's a descent into darkness that is both unsettling and thought-provoking.
