THE NIGHT JOHN LENNON WAS MURDERED

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the tragic events surrounding the assassination of John Lennon, offering a unique perspective through the eyes of an ABC news producer. The narrative focuses on the immediate aftermath of the shooting, highlighting how the breaking news story unfolded during a live Monday Night Football broadcast. While the film explores a pivotal and somber moment in cultural history, it primarily serves as a historical account rather than a deep character study. The limited cast and directorial information available suggest a focus on factual reporting and archival elements, aiming to reconstruct the atmosphere and the journalistic race to inform the public about this devastating event.
